Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States and Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN as a SportsCenter News Anchor. She began working for ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine years old, her ability to speak two languages has helped her get the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. In St. Petersburg, she was employed to the CBS station to work as a sports journalist. In 2009 she moved from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as an investigative reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. He died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. In the summer of 2006, she spent an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working at the time. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, however she knew what she was going to accomplish. The campus was beautiful and provided the education she wanted. After graduation, she went to the university with a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU, of which she's a part. They had a very close relationship. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to believe in herself and was greatly moved by his passion for journalism.
